Come dance with us the second Saturday of every month! We teach a beginner drop-in lesson before each dance, perfect for if you’ve never danced before – or want to revisit the basics.

Schedule

4:30 to 6:30 pm – Workshop (topics and prerequisites vary, usually not beginner-level)

7 to 8 pm – Beginner drop-in lesson (if you’re new to Lindy Hop, this is when you’ll want to show up!)
8 to 11 pm – Open social dance

Admission: pay what you can, $5-20

No experience or partner required!

F.A.Q. about Second Saturday Swing

Do I need to know how to dance already?
Nope! Our beginner drop-in lesson is specifically designed for people who have never danced before in their lives! (But it’s also a great way for more experienced dancers to familiarize themselves with the style of dancing we do, and to meet the people you’ll be dancing with!)

Do I need to bring a partner?
Nope! We’re a social dance group, which means you can dance lots of different people!

Is Second Saturday Swing still on for this month?
Check our Facebook page or calendar for updates on when the dance will be canceled (usually only for major holidays, but we may also cancel when COVID-19 cases are too high).
